Stuart Tromberg is President and Chief Executive Officer of Stuart Rags, Inc and American Clothing Exchange, Inc., which were founded in 1989 and 2003 respectively.
Stuart, born in New York City joined the U.S Air Force and after he completed his 3 ½ year tour in the military he attended the Fashion Institute of Technology majoring in Textile Science.
Stuart has broad experience in sales, marketing and start-up business leadership. He began his career as an independent textile representative in the garment center in New York City where he was the top salesperson and played a key role in many successful launches. He was successful and represented several textile mills at a time.
Stuart, an entrepreneur since age 25, started various businesses related to textiles, clothing, and shoes in Dallas, TX, Miami, Fl., and overseas in Dominican Republic. Presently, CEO of Stuart Rags, Inc. and American Clothing Exchange, Inc. both located in Miami, Florida. Also, CEO of Worldwide Clothing located in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
A veteran of the textiles and recycled clothing industry, Stuart is one of the largest textiles recyclers in the world, supplying more than 35 million lbs. per year to third world countries.
With over 27 years in the business, SRI/AMCLEX will continue to be one of the largest textile recycling companies in the world.
Stuart Tromberg not only a CEO but a philanthropist is involved with numerous charities including Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami as a Founder, The American Cancer Society, Boys and Girls Clubs of America, as well as supplying impoverished children in the Dominican Republic with clothing, shoes and computers for public schools.
